How often do I need pest control?
Different factors like the type of pest, building size, time of the year, location, and weather conditions affect the frequency of pest control. However, for residential apartments, we suggest quarterly pest control for minor infestations. Some extreme cases will require pest control every month.

How long does an inspection take?
Inspections will normally take between 1-2 hours.
How long does pest control take to work?
You will see a noticeable and significant reduction in pest activity within one to two days. The exact time frame depends on the treatment method and the pest we are treating. Live spraying decreases pest activity immediately after the initial treatment. However, since some methods like termite baits take longer periods, complete extermination may take up to 30 days or more.
Will termites go away after the termite season passes?
No, they won’t. Termites are present during swarm season and non-swarm season. The only difference is that you may not see them. A termite treatment is the only way to prevent termites.
Can termites access my home even if built with concrete blocks?
Yes, they will. Regardless of whether your home is sitting on a concrete block or slab, subterranean termites can still find their way into your property. This is why we recommend physical barriers to prevent all of this from happening.
Can I get rid of pests on my own?
You can try temporary pest solutions on your own. However, temporary solutions only work for a short period. Continued and professional pest control is the only guaranteed way of getting rid of pests.
What do I need to do before pest control comes?
Clean your home and make it clutter-free. Put away food and dishes from the countertop, and store open food and toys in a safe place. You can also move appliances out of the way for easy movement, and mopping the floor or dusting appliances won’t hurt.
Does Termidor offer a warranty?
Yes, Termidor offers a $2 million assurance warranty that covers structural damages to property.
Can I stay on my property during treatment?
Yes, you can. Our pest control solutions and treatments are generally safe for humans. However, if you are pregnant or have a sick elderly around, we recommend you leave the property until a few hours after treatment. Also, remove kids from the property during treatment until any sprays have dried completely. Depending on the method we use, we will advise you on the course of action on what to do before we begin the treatment.
